Artists' Statement.

This is the home of what began as a collaborative project between Sophie Daniel and Faye Scott-Farrington.

A long time ago, we began to utilize the cameras on our mobile phones to take pictures that either amused, disturbed or seemed relevant to us at the time.

We exchanged these photos with the intentions of brightening each other's day, or in some cases to prove that what we were seeing was actually real and not some kind of hallucination known only to ourself. We are in some way embodying the clichéd mobile telephone advert friends, who send photographs to each other and giggle over private jokes.

This blog is primarily here as a documentation of these photographs, but also in order to set these images completely out of context and see how this changes their meaning.

You are invited into our game, we often notice things that you don't.

It's true to say that perhaps we record things that shouldn't be recorded, but at the end of the day it's our game.
